Finding your first 10 users without an ad budget

Ten real users teach you more than a thousand visitors. And you can find ten without spending money. You just have to go to them.

Start with names, not channels

Write a list of people who have the problem your product solves. Friends, colleagues, people in groups you’re already in. Message them one by one and ask for fifteen minutes.

Build in public

1. Share what you built this week, not just what you plan to build
2. Show the mistakes. People follow the journey
3. End every post with one small ask: try it, reply, share it

Make it easy to say yes

Send a link that works on their phone in one tap. Sit with them while they use it if you can. Watch where they get stuck. That’s your next build session.
